I've seen some successful examples in tbe past about using Natesto regularly for TRT.
I see my Urologist this week for biopsy results and if all goes well I'm thinking Natesto instead of injections if he approves.
Can anyone shout out if this works for you?
My preference is cream on the testicals but insurance won't pay so I think that this is worth a try?

I’ve used it on and off for years. I can bore you to death with details. Bottom line is I think for it to work, you have to give it time and be patient. It’s the least likely to cause side effects, which is great.

I think that I could manage it as I work behind the desk and have a very balanced schedule.
My follow up is the middle of this week so I've got a minute to decide.

Just make sure to do some homework on it so many specialist don't know anything about it and will try to push you on Androgel or an oral steroid. The nasal application isn't just an inconvenience issue docs just don't like the concept of that many times in the nostrils over a period of years. There's no data claiming it's bad they just don't like it.

I have never heard this before. Is this your doctor telling you this?

I have wondered about the repetitive use in the nostrils but I've never heard of any horror stories.
If my Uro clears my biopsy I'm going to request Natesto for at least a reasonable trial period.
Not going down the Androgel road.
I tried it years ago and its not for me.
Appreciate all of the replies.
Will check in after tomorrow's visit.

Any TRT is for life so just think about being being in your 80's and (hopefully) 90's and needing to do something routinely like brushing teeth, shaving, etc. I struggled with this concept may times as being on t-cyp injections. No right or wrong here...just all good talking points.

You actually are correct. It is something to consider.

I’ve been on it on and off for many years. I go through periods of time when I don’t think about the nasal application at all. It’s second nature. However, sometimes, it does get annoying. It gunks up in the nose and you have to take extra time to clear out the gunk.

That said, the side effects are virtually nonexistent, and it does seem to help with mood. There are various reasons why I haven’t been on it continuously on a long-term basis, one of which is I sometimes feel a bit under treated on it. That said, I suspect that with continued, long-term use, the efficacy improves over time if you have an axis that can kick in and start to function while on it.

any idea how it goes on the DHT comparison scale, I use gel and cyp but gel pushes up DHT, Cyp alone doesnt work so looking into alternatives. The DHT causes me hair loss and BPH

According to what I’ve read and my personal experience, I don’t think it will touch your DHT at all. If it does, I would expect it to be minimal.

I have experimented quite a bit with Natesto and the much cheaper Empower nasal gel. See links below. In summary, it looks great on paper, but results were just OK. I find it hard to imagine using this stuff for the next 20 years. To each his own.

One week on Natesto.
Feeling good.
Some early morning wood after the 4:30am pee.
Looking at my wife's behind much more : )

Challenging to get 3 pumps per day on weekends.
Feel like built up junk in my nose which I don't like.

Would it be ok to use a Nasal Saline flush a couple of times a day?
I don't see why it would hurt???

For sure. I think this is a good idea to do periodically.

Good sleep is key! I don’t think I noticed this in the early days, but I now think I can feel the ups and downs between doses. It’s possible that when you fall asleep on the couch, by then, your energy level is dropping due to your dose being 5 to 6 hours prior. Just speculation. Either way, if it ain’t broke…
