My ED started when my doc prescribed blood pressure pills for my migraines. I switched to lisinopril and my ed wasn't as bad and I was slowly getting better. Took almost a year to get back to like 60 - 70%. So I asked for ED pill samples. I tried Viagra 50mg. It was ok. Then Cialis 20mg. Great erection but intense neck discomfort. Then I tried Levitra 20mg. Wow!!! Erections were so intense.. Levitra gave me extra energy during and after. I struggled for 6 months with insurance to cover Levitra. I used it for a year. Then the price skyrocketed. So I decided to try the 30 days 5m/day of cialis free trial. With 5mg/day I didn't get any neck pain or stuffy nose. Also my buddy was always ready. Mind you, it's still not as good as Levitra but does the job. So I wanted to start daily. Insurance refused. I spent 8 months on this and just flat out asked how I can get covered 90 for 90 days. They said insurance would cover BPH. My doctor agreed to submit it for bph. I wish I could do 5 mg twice a day but don't think that will ever happen. Sometimes with overlap I do end up with extra pills and I have tried twice a day for 1 week and it was awesome. I wish I could buy more without a prescription. Now as far as cost. My health benefits rewards covered me for the first 8 months last year and then I had to pay the rest although still reduced price. I think it was like $450. $450 isn't bad for 360 pills. The beginning of this year all ED pills skyrocketed. My $1600 may only last 6 to 7 months. Fortunately they recently dropped again. I need to share a little secret when you try to get insurance to pay whether its Viagra, Levitra or Cialis. Have your pharmacist try different amounts for different periods of time. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to have the insurance rep tell you or do the same research. You can save quite a bit. For example I found a magic number for cialis and I was actually able to have them cover 4 20mg cialis for 15 days. But try cutting cialis in 4 ;-p
