Hey guys
I am currently on hcg mono for my own low t issues(and i don't feel better), but i've been trying to get my dad on trt or hcg himself.
I believe my dad has functioning testicles because even on cholesterol and diabeties medicines his t ranges from 300-415 at nearly 60. His free t is only 4 now on the 10-26 range from labcorp. His vitamin d and b12 are in check thanks to me lol.
My dad's biggest concern is that trt will make him bald. I am concerned about this for us too. people here might say to deal with it, but a lot of people here are bald(no offense). my dad also doesn't want to dealw ith rogaine or any of that(and neither do i).
in your opinions
1-do you think hcg mono may be helpful for him? Like I said I think he still has functioning testicles. maybe we could try him on 6 weeks at 350 iu per shot 3x per week, and test his labs?
2-will he definitely go bald? He is starting to recede and lose hair now as is =(
3- he is anxious about giving shots, and when i told him he needs to do it once per weekl( i know ideal is twice but for him once is fine) instead of twice per week, he got annoyed lol. Do you think pellets are an ok option? His insurance covers it. He is 230 pounds and 6'3...how many should I push the dr to give him?
4-he is worried that trt will make his diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol worse. any thoughts?
my dad currently walks a lot, but doesnt lift weights. it is my understanding that he will improve his body composition by improving his t levels.
