My bloods - scores went up after a break from TRT?

Hi All,

I had my blood test yesterday.

TOTAL TEST: I tested last week at 493
3 months ago I tested at 292 (odd that I tested this high at 493, usually my scores have been in the mid 100s)

My free test last wee was 14.2 , 3 months ago i was 6.8

What's bizarre is I was off TRT for 2 months prior to last weeks bloods - I have no idea how my scores jumped that much being OFF TRT

I am starting again this weekend.

My Estradiol was tested last week and I came back at 22.4 Three Months ago it was not tested.

I had all the tests run that Neslon recommends. I am going back to 130/ml a week and going to go back in 6 weeks for tests.

130ml a week I assume you mean 130mg per week right?

I did 3 weeks of shots, then got into a bad car accident and was stuck traveling for work then didn't do a shot for 2 months, until this morning....

130mg/week is what I'm going to start with.

My T 1.5 years ago was 153... two weeks after I shot myself last summer (August) I went to 250...Saw a doctor who confirmed what other docs said and said i was feeling like crap because of low T.... I did 3 weeks of shots and stopped and got tested this week and came back at 493.

Why did you inject for three weeks, stop, and test? You hadn't established stable levels, that's a minimum of four weeks and many doctors hold out for six weeks. Frankly, I wouldn't put much stock in any of your results given the erratic nature of your protocol.

Okay cool, you have a decent amount of labs, but I'm still not clear on whether the august 23 2016 labs were while ON TRT.

Also, how do you feel right now? What are your symptoms?

493 isn't a great level, and with the wrong E2 test ran, it's impossible to know if your E2 is low or not. It's entirely possible E2 is low right now, seeing as 22 on a standard test can be much lower on the proper sensitive test.

Adopt a protocol, maintain it - no changes at all for at least four (preferably six) weeks - test just prior to the next injection. These results aren't useful for any conclusions given the way you did/didn't inject. All the best.

I felt lethargic, scatter brained, and a little down. When I'm on the shots I feel energetic and can think straight.

What is the right E2 to run? I went off Nelson's protocol and the doctor was fine with it - is there a special code for E2 for Labcorp? Please let me know.

You need four to six weeks on a steady protocol, no changes. To measure estradiol you want the sensitive test, LC, MS/MS. You can obtain it yourself at www.discountedlabs.com.

Total testosterone, free testosterone, estradiol/sensitive, SHBG, CBC, CMP. The fact that your doctor needs so much prompting on the vital question of testing is a serious concern.

No he's good! He had most of these. He's one of the few doctors I found in America who actually try to develop a relationship with their client for the good. Most doctors don't listen to a word you say and throw you out, churning for dollars. Thanks for your help! I do appreciate it!
