Two weeks ago I had my Defy consult and my old protocol (16mg EOD) produced TT 376, Free T 15.1 and Sensitive E2 29.6 with high E2 symptoms. Estrogen has definitely been increasing the last two weeks.

Started 20mg EOD two weeks ago and just received my package from Empower today, took my prescribed dose AI .125mg and have notice few hours later mood is greatly improved.

Now several hours later I developed pain behind my eyes/forehead that could be described as a frontal headache, slight ache in hips. I'm not sure if this is a side effect of the anastrozole or if this is in fact crashed estrogen. I'm starting to yawn a lot and I'm getting sleepy. Eyes want to close.

My understanding is anastrozole doesn't alter you're estrogen you have already produced, but blocks more from converting into more estrogen.

I'm wondering if this just be from having estrogen cut down to quickly but not actually low. Could anyone help explain why I feel as if my estrogen has been crashed?

I'm probably going to run a sensitive estrogen test tomorrow to find out.

I appreciate anyone chiming in.

That micro dose plus you upped T by 4mg (more E, presumably)...psychosomatic response; all in your head. There's no way you went from 29.6, upped your T dose and a tiny AI crashed you out. But you did change things up and perhaps a small adjustment period but crashed E2 is think that's not plausibel at this point not withstanding the cut and paste reply on how bad an AI is

Your old protocol was 16mg of T EOD and no AI, your new protocol is 20mg of T and .125 of an AI EOD?

Correct old protocol was 16mg EOD no AI. I no longer believe my estrogen crashed because I still get erections and and not having to urinate frequently and have not had a headache since Wednesday, I'm thinking this is just a nausea, aches and pains and heachaches which are side effects on the Anastrozole and not necessarily low E2. The first day was the when I felt slightly bad, but I have feel the same today I did yesterday. Perhaps it time side effects will subside.

Has anyone felt bad at after their first dose of Anastrozole that subsided days, weeks later?

Waiting to hear back from Defy, should get an answer today, Monday at the latest.

Update: I was instructed not to take my .125 AI today with my injection, instead every other injection. My chest is starting to burn tonight so that means estrogen is still high. It's really burning!
