Managing E2 and AI Use

I have a new member on this formum but after my initial reading several posts and also watching Nelson's videos I want to extend my thank you.

I'm going to relate a story I have been on T pellets for three years initially when I went on the them by E2 level was over 100. So of course my doctor put me on a Anastrozole. He put me on 1/2 mg every other day. All my subsequent E2 level test came back between 17 and 19. All the time on the t does I never felt like I was getting any benefits from the testosterone even though my total t and my free t were always at the top of the range. No night time erection etc. etc

Afree watching the videos I learned that the only test to take for Estradiol is the ultra sensitive test. I went back and checked which test my doctor has been using all this time and it was the wrong test. So if my levels were between 17 and 19 using the wrong test if I would have taken an ultra sensitive test while on the AI my levels would've Been extremely low.

I discontinued the AI and within four days I started seeing definite benefits especially sexual which we would expect from being on T. I stayed off the AI for two weeks and went in for my schedule test, new doctor, and made sure that it was an ultra sensitive. The result was my E2 came back at 24. I have also lost about 18 pounds since I started T therapy which obviously helps with aromatization. I did a little experiment and went back on the AI for a week Monday Wednesday Friday 1/2 mg. Lo and behold I lost all the good things LOL. I stopped it again and within three days got them back. Experment a success.

Moral of the story is you better make yourself knowledgeable about this stuff because the doctors not all but many many Are not really up on what's going on. So I have to thank Nelson and this Forum.
