Leaky **** syndrome?

I posted about this in another thread but haven't gotten any responses there so I thought I'd start a new one.

I am 62 and taking Testosterone (.25ml 2x a week) and HCG (300icu 2x a week) as well as 5 mg Cialis a day and I have this problem where the moment I get excited stuff, for lack of a better word, starts to leak out of my penis. I don't even have to have a full-on erection to have it happen. I'm newly single and dating around and this leakage business has become increasing problematic and embarrassing -- especially when I'm kissing a woman for the first time and suddenly I've got a big dark blotch on the front of my trousers.

Sheesh, man.

I haven't had sex with any of these women yet, but during masturbation, well before I ejaculate but when I can tell I'm on my way, the pre-ej starts dribbling out for what seems like a minute (I guess I could time it) before I actually do ejaculate. And when that finally happens, hardly anything comes out, just a little blob's worth and nothing like it used to be. And, obviously, ain't no shooting across the room anymore, cause there ain't no shooting of any kind.

The orgasm itself feels okay, but in general everything seems so ... bleh.

It also takes me forever to come.

One of the reasons I haven't had sex with a woman is that I don't want to have to deal with these issues in front of someone else.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Oh, one other thing: I am on Zoloft and Wellbutrin but I had none of these issues before starting on T and HCG.

Well, like I suggested, I've been on Z and W for at least a decade with no ill effects until I started with Test and HCG. Maybe those separately or together caused the sexual side effects of the Zoloft to come to the fore.

Thanks for that link to the Wellbutrin article. So, it's very likely that W isn't the problem. Maybe I'll stop the Zoloft and see how I feel and see if it makes any difference to the various leakage and weird orgasm troubles I've been having.

None of the things I've described could be attributed to Testosterone or HCG?

How long have you been on TRT? How long after treatment began did this all start presenting? It is very typical for the volume of semen ejaculated to be reduced for a man using exogenous testosterone. As for the pre-ejaculation discharge, I noticed it increasing, once I began TRT, but not to the level you have described.

Do not stop the zoloft without consulting the prescriber. If you get it from your pcp, he may not be that knowledgeable,if he's a psychiatrist, he is. Weaning off is the way to go.

MM: None of my doctors are all that knowledgeable. I'm going to cut my dosage in half and see how that goes.

CoastWatcher: I've been on TRT for about 5 months, and I think I started to notice the changes within a month. The discharge is a little disconcerting and, like I said, embarrassing.

I've also felt tiny amounts of discharge leaking out more or less randomly during the day. Don't know if it's the same kind of discharge or even related.

Guess I got some stuff going on down there.

My TRT is directed by Defy, so I guess I ought to ask them about it, but I'm squeamish when it comes to discussing such matters. Yeah, Yeah, I know, but what can I do? Oh, well, here's one thing: I could write them.

The question is: are you more uncomfortable discussing this with a medical professional or more uncomfortable being with a woman because of it? I'd say suck it up and talk with Defy about it before you drive yourself crazy thinking about it and before you miss any more opportunities to get horizontal with a partner.

We can offer some ideas, and we can sympathize (which we do), but it's going to take a doctor to definitively sort this out for you. I doubt there's much Dr. Saya and the medical staff haven't heard.

Oh, I'm sure. Anyway, I'm going to write em and see what they say.

If this happens occasionally even WITHOUT sexual stimulation, as you noted, it may point to a prostate issue. Perhaps post in Dr Rotman's urological thread to pick his brain and/or get the prostate evaluated by a local urologist.

Yes we've heard pretty much everything, including this, but it is not a very common occurrence with TRT.

Thank you for weighing in, Dr. Saya. I'm in touch w/ Jill at your office and have given her more details than I've written about here, which may be and, now that I think about it, probably are relevant. I kind of disagreed with her first thoughts on the matter, sent her an email reflecting same, and am waiting to hear back from her. Maybe she'll come to you to get your thoughts ....

(I do post here under a different user name but wanted to keep this topic separate from my others for reasons of I dont know why, probably some offshoot of my general squeamishness :))

I want to assure you that no one here is put off by this topic. We're glad you are a member and opened this for discussion. I hope you can sort it out.

I don't have this problem, I get some precum, normal, but another guy recently posted about an excess that was concerning to him. I kind of view it as the wetness a female experiences but then you don't want to be soaked, either.

If you're with Defy they've certainly atleast once probably on your intake set of labs pulled a PSA. Check on that and report back.

I haven't heard back from Defy today and with an hour left in the typical working day, I guess I might not. Hopefully, I'll hear something on Monday. Will update the thread as best I can.

Here's an article explaining how to wean off Zoloft:
