Is fasting required for this test?

No.. the only time I know that fasting is required. Is when you do a lipid panel.

When using exogenous testosterone.....fasting is not required before having blood work done for Total Testosterone or Free Testosterone as the hpta is shutdown and food (glucose/mixed meal) will have no impact on temporarily suppressing ones T levels.
