Iodine

60 mg armour thyroid daily. Last tsh 1.6 and t3 4.1 my body temperature is always low 97s or high 96 though and my hands get cold easily. Feel decent though so just was curious on iodine.

Iodine and or kelp/iodine can definitely be beneficial with the T4 to T3 conversion process, and it has shown to provide benefits for many having subclinical hypothyroidism. Selenium can also provide additional benefits, it's worth researching.

I've used nascent iodine as a supplement for years. It definitely helps my immune system, and I am sure other things I am not aware of. I just use a few drops daily.

My Thyroid has always been testing good, the whole battery of tests and my TSH stays 1.5-1.6 but I did last year go back to iodized sea salt after many years of non-iodized.
