Increasing dosage from 50mg/wk to 100mg/wk - Timing ??

Began TRT in August 2021. Endo started me on gel packets due to better overall level stabilization (and probably a $ kickback from their rep). These were messy, especially with young kids, so I switched to injections in December. Prescription was for 50mg, one injection weekly. After seeing my previous and recent bloodwork along with my asking my overall symptoms and feelings, my physician increased dosage to 100mg/wk which I picked up today.

I plan to inject 50mg twice weekly. Splitting this evenly, I would inject 50mg every 3.5 days which I've seen several others on this forum do. Is there any downside to injecting in the evening? Has anyone experienced lack of sleep or anything that would cause me to rather do it, say, two mornings of the week?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
