IGF-1 Out of range. Cause for concern?

I've been on TRT for around 18 months. 50mg x2week plus HCG 500iu x2week. My free t and estrogen run high but I don't really have any sides and my Hematrocrit stays steady around 49. But on the last test my IGF-1 came back at 219 ug/L with a ref range of 65-200 ug/L. I assume this is because I run high on the free T (594pmol/l four days after 50mg shot ref range of 115-577pmol/l).

Is there anything to worry about with higher IGF-1 levels?

In some men, TRT can increase IGF-1, which in your case isn’t really that far over the range.

Do you have any IGF-1 labs pre-TRT to compare?

I was at 167 right before starting and 181 a few months after starting. So I guess I was already above the mean according to the reference range.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)
