I was sent here by Gene Devine. I recently joined a FB Group to get more info on TRT. I recently was diagnosed with low levels of testosterone. Here is my intro that I wrote on the FB Group:

Little about myself, I'm 32 weigh 370lbs. Been overweight my entire life. Didn't start growing facial hair till i was over 25. Very little sex drive. Yoyo weight loss/gain. Very high anxiety and panic attacks frequently which I take meds for.

Recently a friend of mine thats a doctor asked if I ever had my test checked. Well I hadn't and he told me I should so I went last week and lone behold things aren't looking so good.

My doctor that did the bloodwork is a naturopath so he put me on supplements to rid my body of excess estrogen and balance my T levels again. Im not sure how long this will take and want a quicker fix. Been looking into TRT but really don't know much about it so I figured id join this group and ask people with experience.

Could this be the cause the my severe obesity, anxiety and other symptoms I have dealt with for my whole life? My doc friend says if I start on TRT I would feel like a brand new man...
I don't know what to do and kind of scared at the moment. Im a major worrier and hypochondriac as well..again something else caused by lifelong low t?

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Also thoughts on my numbers would be great as well.

Thanks everyone!

Gene put me over the top to drop my endo (which wasn't working) and seek a specialist. If you see a good doc they will do tests, then answer all your questions, and finally determine what the best treatment is for you specifically.

Ive seen other posters who take medication in addition to TRT for other issues, so I don't want to get your hopes up tooooo high that it will cure everything wrong. You may have other conditions that need to be treated separately. But again, a doctor will be able to tell you. The one I dealt with is extremely friendly, so you shouldn't be apprehensive about calling them up.

On the good side of being a hypochondriac, I'm sure you know how to do Internet research. So reading all the stickies in the forum will help better educate you about TRT and give you some things to discuss with your doctor.

Understanding Your Hormones
