Hi, I have been on TRT for 8 weeks (200mgs enanthate every two weeks) Via prescription by my primary Doctor. I cant talk him into weekly injections or HCG so far I have an appointment next week I'm going to try one last time. I have to go in office for injections, which is a pain. I am 36 years old 5'9" weighing 240lbs. I have to lose weight and get back in shape. I have been going to the gym 3-4 days a week trying to add some lean mass. I am trying to clean up my diet but struggle sticking to it and trying to figure out what diet is best for me. I have not lost any weight since I started TRT, I have stayed the same weight but do feel like I am adding some muscle and strength. I am here to learn and get some good advice and change my health for the better. Thanks!

Sincerly,

Clint

Welcome to Excelmale. Injections every two weeks are doomed to failure; the half-life of testosterone is such that by the end of the second week you will have metabolized your dose...it is a simple fact. The ticket to success with injections are frequent injections of smaller amounts of testosterone. A typical starting dose is 50mg every 3.5 days. You deserve better care...I'd urge you to consider another doctor.

Your doctor is like a mechanic you take your car to for a tune-up and it runs worse after he is done than before your brought it in. If he thinks one injection every 2 weeks and no HCG is going to make anyone feel good, he is sadly mistaken. That and making you come in for injections is just a rip-off.

Thanks! That is why I am here to learn more and to do what is best for my health. I do want to seek out a new doctor that knows what he's doing when it comes to TRT.

Of you can't find appropriate care in your area, you should consider Defy Medical or Prime Body. Both are national practices, Defy uses a tele-health model, and are well regarded. You haven't failed - your doctor and substandard protocol have failed.
