HCG while on TRT for testicular atrophy

Hi, i am new to the site. I have been on TRT for a year and my boys have shrunk significantly. When I climax during sex? The amount is maybe a 1/4 of what it wss before TRT. I've read that clomiphene and HCG can help reverse testicular atrophy. To take HCG wpuld I have to stop TRT or can it be reversed while on TRT? Also, the HCG that I have was premixed and ready to go in the vial instead of reconstitution. It is a 5000iu vial from a company called Bharat Serums and Vaccines. Can i use this and how much how often?

I get HCG for reliable RX and inject 500 IU every third day. I combine it in my syringe with my testosterone. It's pretty simple. I learned it from Nelson.

No, you shouldn’t stop your trt protocol when adding in HCG to reverse atrophy and improve orgasms. Never heard of that company, but I’d be very skeptical of using HCG that was already constituted when I received it. You can look into confirming potency by using it on a pregnancy test, but preferably you’d find a legit provider. It can’t be compounded in the US anymore, but if you are going through a provider they should be able to write you a prescription for pregnyl. I’ve been using that for years, which I switched to after the compounding ban. I think it is stronger and retains potency longer than compounded options.

No you can take hCG when using exogenous T.

The main benfits would be minimizing/preventing testicullar atrophy and maintaining fertility.

Throw in boosting libido too but this is not a given!

Everything you would ever want/need to know when it comes to adding gonadtropin therapy with exogenous T!

I would tread lightly when it comes to premixed solutions especially when ordering from overseas!

This is definitely a right of passage; I was ignorant of the process; I didn't expect it to take this long to feel better, etc. I can see how the NHS one-trick protocol is like a sledgehammer approach.


In regards to HCG. I'm now on 500IU per week, which is now taking micro dosing daily, but from my research, I keep seeing conflicting results. Some say a daily dose helps recreate the natural production, and some say higher doses less often are better as HCG tends to have a double spike, and it's more effective when taken in large, less frequent doses. Comes down to the minimum weekly dose needed in order to stimulate maximum ITT (intratesticular testosterone)!

500 IU whether injected once weekly or split into more frequent injection is most likely too low a weekly dose to derive the maximum benefits!

If anything I would be aiming for 250 IU 3X weekly or better yet 500 IU 2-3X weekly.

Is there any data on what the minimal dosage of hcg is to keep 'the guys' working while on TRT?

I'm asking this because hcg seems to rise estrogen and I'd like to keep that to a minimum.

Also, I might want to have kids later but not exactly now, so I'm looking for a guideline for the minimal dose per week. Not to be super fertile right now but when I'd want to, I could in theory increase the dose.

If you are just starting TTh then in order to minimize/prevent testicular atrophy 1500 IU once weekly should suffice or better yet 500 IU twice-weekly.

Hi all,

Currently on 100mg Test Cyp injected shallow IM in deltoid once a week and HCG 500iu injected SubQ twice a week (1000iu weekly). The HCG makes me bloated like I'm pregnant. I do not care about fertility. I do care about minimizing testicular atrophy and want to maintain downstream neurosteroid production. What is the minimum weekly dose of HCG I can get away with for my needs. Hoping I can lower some of the bloating. Thanks!

Hello,
68 yo male, HIV+ here. I foolishly have been on TRT for over 20 years with never cycling off of it or using HCG with it. Needless to say, my testicular atrophy has gotten very severe. Also, for unknown reasons I have completely lost my libido in the past year. That has never been a problem before and I really miss it. I don't even have the libido to masturbate. My head tells me I want to do it but my body is not interested.
