Will hcg raise estradiol levels? My levels with just 200mg cyp per week was 17.9 I think not the extra sensitive test. Now with and extra sensitive test and 250iu 2xw they are at a level of 67. I've been wondering why I've not felt good for the last few weeks I'm thinking it's time to start taking the an anastrozole. I should have been doing it all along if hcg raises estro. levels. I've switched over to Defy and will have my console call July 19th so things should be straightened out.

Yes, HCG can raise your estradiol levels. Aromatizing in the testes, E2 elevated through the use of HCG is not as responsive to the use of an AI. But, yes, you're right, things will get sorted out if you are becoming a Defy patient.

HCG can raise estradiol, DHT, progesterone, pregnenolone, testosterone. Pretty amazing molecule!

Your estradiol is higher than what I would expect at 250 IU HCg twice per week unless you are using large doses of TRT.

Do you have high fat mass or liver issues?

Are you injecting 200mg of testosterone a week in a single or divided dose? What was your most recent total testosterone, free testosterone, and SHBG value?

Thanks guys. I have a fatty liver..my cholesterol is high. 212 total and triglycerides almost 400..I've had no energy as of late and have been drinking energy drinks and soda for pick me energy..my triglycerides haven't been that high in yes. I've not been going to gym regularly due to its just don't feel like going. It's gotta be my estrogen levels

I should add that I'm 5'10 and 205lbs. I've had a fatty liver issue for years..I don't drink much maybe twice a month at most

Two observations, one is that I would suspect you have low SHBG if you're taking 200mg and getting a trough read of 527. That's got to be low SHBG, in lay terms you're body is going through the T very rapidly. I would suspect you have a roller coaster ride of very high T and then returning to an almost low T state by day 6. If this is the case you should be inj E3.5D, minimum, if not EOD. Second, your use of 200mg in one injection also contributes to your high E as 200 is far too much at one time, leads to excess, leads to aromatization; Estrogen. You're not using enough HCG to really spike your E2 in to the 60's.

Thanks guys. Huge help..I'm gonna follow the protocol my original doc. gave me until next month when defy takes over..I wasn't taking anti estrogen Cuz my levels were normal. I'll take the .05 twice a week as my first doc said. I'm sure they would be normal if Ida taken the anti estrogen in the first place..I did start of the first week taking .25 twice a week for one week to see how my body would react. I felt no side effects.

.5mg is too much of a powerful drug. Always go low with Anastrozole...it's easy to go from one extreme, to the other, where low (or 0) Estrogen is just as bad. I suggest the .25mg once with your injection. You can always increase to twice per week if needed.

The energy drinks and pop are not doing you any favors with your fatty liver

I do not take any statins. I have stopped the energy drinks..my cholesterol hasn't been this bad in yrs..I'll get that under control. Once my trt is figured out I'll be back to gym regularly..
