Is there any benefit to taking hCG if one is primary hypogonadal?
Yes, there are many benefits of taking HCG when a man is primary. There are LH receptors throughout our bodies, besides the receptors of the leydig cells, including the brain and lining of our blood vessels and elsewhere...and they are there for a reason.
When we are HPTA suppressed due to Testosterone supplementation we need HCG (an LH analog) to keep our testes functioning for Secondary men but also to make sure those other LH receptors throughout a man's body are being activated.
There are a number of TRT Doc's who have had Primary man use HCG and many of these patients have claimed a better sense of self being and increase libido...so it's doing something for them.
