Hello folks,

I am on trt for couple of months and now including anastrozole in the protocol as I got 60.8 pg/mL E2 and want to control it, I could not found anything but Adova gelatin capsule 1mg, which I cant break, there is liquid inside them. I am thinking to take 0.5 mg twice per week so can I mix this in alcohol and take the half of the total alcohol twice per week. Please suggest.

Thanks

You are in India, isn't that right? Is there no compounding pharmacy that can prepare a 0.5 preparation for you?

Yes, you are right I am from India, I was originally prescribed Anabrez Tab 1mg from New Delhi and I am unable to find it on local stores here where I actually live and I only found Adova Cap, that is why I was wondering If any solution can be found, if there is not any, I will try to get tablets online.

I can think of 2 options:
- dissolve them in something like vodka and split the dosages
- freeze them and split in half

Not sure if either of these options would affect the integrity of the drug though

Thanks HealthMan, Freezing seems to be a great idea but I think potency may be compromised. I tried dissolving this into alcohol but it doesn't it stays separate.
