Generic Testosterone Application Issues

I am transmale and I have been on HRT for over a year now. I recently switched from injections to the gel because of a couple things like increased anxiety and allergic reaction to the new scripts.

My issue with the Prasco testosterone gel is that there is so much of it in one tube. I apply it to shoulder/upper arm area in the mornings, but it just does not dry completely and recently use a blow dryer that doesn't seem to help. I am constantly unsticking my clothes off the application area, which leads me to more concerns as to accidentally getting the gel on someone. I find myself having to schedule my life around the applications as to make sure not to spread it. Sometimes I can't even do the application, which is needed daily.

I think my doc gave me this script to save money, but I found out that my insurance covers a substantial part of the cost of named brands. Would switching to one help with my issues?

I already suffer from extreme anxiety and would like to not add to it, any advice/help is muchly appreciated.

Try your thigh area for application, even go so far as to use both legs. Also helps absorption if you exfoliate the areas and at night opposite the applications use a moisturizer.

It would be nice if you could just stick to interjections, so much simpler than creams or gels. I know some other members have complained about anxiety with using trt. I've always wondered what causes anxiety when increasing your testosterone levels.

I was born that way. I was diagnosed at the age of 8 with OCD and extreme anxiety and fears.

Now I am having another problem, my body acne is so bad I am in severe pain. I actually skipped my application because of it. Is there anything that can help with that?
Should I post this elsewhere?
