Hi friend, I was planning to buy a Garmin Forerunner GPS Watch, but I don't know anything about this watch how to work. Please give me information about Forerunner Watch.

It all depends on which one it is as to what features it will have.
I basically tracks your complete run and you can upload it to sites like Strava to track you workouts (heart rate, mph, terrain, calories etc...), maps out your runs, and progress.
I use a Garmin for cycling all the time.

I am not a runner so cant help you much on where would be the best place to purchase one. The one I use is a cycling computer so not the same. I would go to Garmin site and pick the one you want then search for it. I purchased my Garmin from ebay and got a really good deal.
