gaining weight

Buy Lab Tests Online
Hello,

Finally i got my lab results. Would be grateful for inputs. Thanks.

I am on testosterone 100mg per week, 2x 200 IU HCG (2 days before T shot), 15mg hydrocortisone, 1.5 grain thyroid, 25mg dhea

Everything seems ok, but for some reason i feel better on T gel. Less acne, less oily skin, less tension in testicles and no weight gain(probably water weight).

E2 test is not sensitive for male, but when i was on T-gel(10%, 100mg) it was 40. I always test in the same laboratory. So my E2 is twice higher on subq(100mg per week) compare T-gel.

I am thinking to switch back to T-gel, but maybe would be good reason to try AI 0.1mg 1x or 2x per week with subq T? What would be smallest safe possible dose for trial?

I tested 5th day after T injection (no HCG)

Total Testosterone (nmol/l) 23,25 range 8,33-30,19
SHBG 37,2 (nmol/l) range 10-57
E2 (pmol/l) 84 range 40,4-161,5 (on T gel was 40)
FSH <0,1 (U/l) range 0,95-11,95

DHEA-SO4 3,91 (mkmol/l) range 2,2-15,2
Cortisol (nmol/l) 264 range 101-536

TTH (mU/l) 0,376 range 0,4-4,0
FT4 (pmol/l) 11,34 range 9,0-19,0
FT3 (pmol/l) 4,12 range 2,63-5,70

IGF-1 (mkg/L) 244 range 41-246

Feritin (mkg/l) 88,4 range 20-300
Fe (mkmol/l) 19,4 range 9,5-29,9
TIBC (mkmol/l) 52,4 range 42,3-52,5
UIBC (mkmol/l) 33,7 range 12,4-43,0
Transferin saturation 35,7% range 20-50

Okay so you're on 100mg E7D but you tested at day 5? Why? You should always get trough. If it's an honest mistake then that happens, but always get trough.

Do you have other labs? Such as a CBC or anything else?

Post your labs on gel.

Your total test is 700, and e2 converts to 20 pg/ml which is absolutely not high, especially with it being a standard test that generally over estimates, where your total test is, having midrange-high SHBG and your T/E2 ratio being 35. With a sensitive test you'd probably be even lower E2, so T/E2 ratio is probably higher than 35.

I absolutely do not think you should take AI. You will almost absolutely crash your E2. You didn't mention any notorious high E2 symptoms like itchy or sensitive nipples, breast growth, ED, mood, or night sweats.

10pg/ml E2 which is 40 on your test, is insanely low and would probably give symptoms of low E2, plus it being a dangerous level for bone health and long term health.

Your symptoms seem to be just from testosterone itself, weight gain is normal with starting TRT, water weight as well, and so is oily skin and mild acne.

It's possible if you give it time, these will lessen, it may just be your body adjusting to the higher testosterone levels.

Your thyroid looks pretty good, iron and ferritin as well, but I am not as well informed on those. If anyone else comments on those listen to them.

johndoesmith thanks for input.

Yes, i am on 100mg E7D and tested at day 5, to see more middle level not just lowest point.
I think i read on
Dr John Crisler book about testing on 5th day.

During the last 4 years i tested several times E2(not sensitive) and it was always ~10 pg/ml (or 40 pmol/l) and it doesn't matter if i am on any hormones or not. I never tried AI.

Is this a problem if men have low E2 when he is not on any hormones?

My T level few years ago without hormones:

Total T 22.97 nmol/l 5.76-30.43
SHGB 59.8 nmol/l 10-57

tested on other lab

Testosterone 12.2 nmol/l 5.5-27

SHBG 41.62 nmol/l 16.5-55.0

Unfortunately in Lithuania we don't have free T.

Latest hormone levels on T-gel (12 hours after apply)
SHGB 46.5
Total T 17.8 nmol/l 8.33-30.19

My SHGB rises very quickly if i increase thyroid hormones. Even on 1.5 grain SHGB rises above 35.

I am not aware of that. Trough is generally the best way to do things. It shows how your metabolism of testosterone is.

During the last 4 years i tested several times E2(not sensitive) and it was always ~10 pg/ml (or 40 pmol/l) and it doesn't matter if i am on any hormones or not. I never tried AI.

Ouch. You didn't have any symptoms? https://www.google.com/search?sourc...w e2 symptoms&aqs=chrome.0.0l3j69i64.2277j0j7

Is this a problem if men have low E2 when he is not on any hormones?

Yeah. Low E2 can cause issues with libido and bone health, as well as general health. Chances are since that's a standard test, you're actually lower than 10. I tested at 8 on a standard test 7-43 range before TRT and I wanted to die. I personally think that low E2 symptoms cause a significant portion of low testosterone symptoms, assuming a guy is low test and low E2.

My T level few years ago without hormones:

Total T 22.97 nmol/l 5.76-30.43
SHGB 59.8 nmol/l 10-57

Testosterone 12.2 nmol/l 5.5-27
SHBG 41.62 nmol/l 16.5-55.0

Those are both done PRE TRT?

Latest hormone levels on T-gel (12 hours after apply)
SHGB 46.5
Total T 17.8 nmol/l 8.33-30.19

No E2 or any other labs?

My SHGB rises very quickly if i increase thyroid hormones. Even on 1.5 grain SHGB rises above 35.

From my basic understanding of thyroid hormones, that's what thyroid hormones do, is increase SHBG.

Unfortunately in Lithuania we don't have free T.

Dont need it. You can calculate from total and SHBG. Your first pre TRT free test is about 9.73, second free test is 6.33. I usually use a 9-26 range for this.

As mentioned, most likely your body adjusting to the T protocol. Seems to be rather typical to be water weight. I'm 5'8". Now 158, yes I have gained muscle, I have a very good diet and gym routine, lifestyle choices physiological, physical changes are welcomed. I'm probably rather lucky, with no really adverse affects since I started in exogenous therapy as this has been a 20yr plus journey.

Trough - just before the shot?

I am not aware of that. Trough is generally the best way to do things. It shows how your metabolism of testosterone is.

My main complain is fatigue. Its quite logical, if you have testosterone deficence, then you can have Estradiol, because its made from T.

Yes, they are PRE TRT

E2 is always ~40

Trough - just before the shot? Yes. Day of injection, but before you inject.

Do you mean if a person has low test, that person will also have low E2?

Yes, they are PRE TRT

E2 is always ~40

You may want to use units when you post that, your 40 is not the same as our 40.
