First Self Injection

Well I Just did my first injection as a subq in the stomach. I used a 28g needle. I gotta say the first time really got my nerves fired up.

I think it went well. I split my weekly dose in half so I will do another 3 or 4 days later.

The injection spot is a bit tender and I can feel the oil as a little bump. I wanted to ask if I should try to massage it a bit or just let it be.

Massage it. Next time massage it right after the injection.

Thanks! I wasn't sure because I didn't want to push the oil out or anything. The 28g took some doing to draw it and get the bubbles out but the injection was easily done in 10 or 15 seconds and there was no leaking. Just one tiny spec of blood

since you are just starting you will try different inj points as you should alternate sites. a little massaging of the inj site helps to alleviate and post sensation. For me sometimes I feel an annoying sensation but noting intolerable and soon it is forgotten other times damn, Ill feel it for a day or 2. Who knows, why, it just is.
I use a 30 or 31 g needle, just take the extra minute to load the syringe, almost like nothing happeend most of the time

Wow 30 or 31? I thought the 28 was extra small. I didn't really even have to really push for it to puncture the skin. The sensation is gone now. It was just sort of uncomfortable and tight feeling if I stretched and moved around.

With that being said its a HELL of a lot better than that 1.5" 22g in the glute.

Dr Crisler has a video on youtube describing the proper way to inject test cyp via subq.
If I remember correctly he said not to pinch or massage the area.

Jamestrt, how much did you inject? When I do subq in the stomach, I am good if I don't go above 40 mg. I tried 50 mg once and left a lump for about five days.

I've been doing .5ml in the stomach. Stings for a few hours.

Stinging for me is more dependant on the compounding pharmacy used for the cypionate. With some pharmacies it stings a little more often than with others.
