First blood results since starting TRT...

I started Testosterone gel (50mg daily) about 2 months ago and here are my pre and post trt numbers. Would love some insight if they are good? I was initially put on trt due to low free testosterone w symptoms (libido, ed, low energy, sweats, anxiety, low mood).

Pre TRT (29 yo healthy male) tested at 7am:

Prolactin: 312 mU/L (range: 86-324)
FSH: 1.9 U/L (range: 1.5-12.4)
LH: 7.0 U/L (range: 1.7-8.6)
Testosterone: 450 ng/dl (300-1000)

SHBG: 43 nmol/L (range: 16-55)
Oestradiol: 55.00 pmol/L

Tested at 8am (before i applied gel):

Testosterone: 593 ng/dl (300-1000)
SHBG: 36.90 (range: 16-55)
Free T of 2%

Im still waiting on prolactin and E2.

I generally feel a good bit better in terms of libido and energy. Still feel anxiety (particularly social anxiety) but im guessing that’s not to do with my testosterone levels unfortunately.

My question for you guys are these numbers good for TRT?

Not much improvement in FreeT if that 2% holds true.
I doubt your symptoms are all resolved, correct?

Would appear that a decent dose increase is going to be needed.

Anything else besides the T Cream included in your protocol?

If these numbers are before applying the gel these numbers look good in my opinion. Usually when using gels you get bloodwork after applying. If you can get another set of bloodwork after applying you will have a better picture of where you stand

This is absolutely correct...the testing strategy on topicals is opposite of injections.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
