Effects of drugs in sexual health

Hi all. I have a very active sex life before I started taking gemfibrozil. My wife is already suspecting that I have an affair because we seldom make love anymore. Can this be the reason for my decrease in sex drive?

Less serious side effects may include:

upset stomach;

mild stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea;

headache, dizziness, drowsiness;

mild joint or muscle pain;

loss of interest in sex, impotence, difficulty having an orgasm;

cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat.

Gemfibrozil is a drug to lower cholesterol, is that right? Well, bad news is that one of the side effects of this drug is loss of interest in sex, impotence and difficulty having an orgasm. ask your doctor to change prescription

Yes, I am taking this for cholesterol. I was about to go to a counselor after reading this article https://www.betterhelp.com/advice/m...your-spouse-about-online-marriage-counseling/ hoping that my sex life will improve. My doctor did not inform me about the side effect of this drug. Thank you.

I would get in contact with him ASAP. Some drugs even after you stop taking them there side effects don't go away.
SSRI's for depression are notorious for this gift that keeps on giving.

What does your lipid panel look like?
