Does weight loss/gain change anything?

Hi,
When I first started TRT, I weighed 227lbs. I now weigh 196lbs. I'm 5'11". I'm on 4 pumps of Androgel with 150units of HCG daily. I was reading around and I saw guys on 200-300 mg's of testosterone cypionate daily for TRT. When asked why their doses were so high, they would respond, "I'm a big guy, I need more." That makes me wonder. I lost 31lbs. Does my dosage change?

Thanks

Hi,
I wasn't talking to anyone. I just noticed people saying that on different forums. I'm not sure if it's proper etiquette to link or post other forums here. Some guys are on 200-250-300mg's per week. When I was on injections, my doc prescribed 200mg's a week. I cut it down to 100 and saved the rest.

Your initial post indicated you were asking about a daily dose of 200-300 mgs of test cyp. Doses are individualized. It all depends on how you feel and what your bloodwork shows. What is your current protocol? Dose and schedule? Can you provide test results, with references? And...how are you feeling?

Hi,
Sorry about the confusion. My question really revolved around size/weight and dosage. Does a larger person need a larger dose? What if that person lost weight? does his dosage change? I lost 31lbs and I my numbers on Androgel vary greatly so I can't really use that as a benchmark. My number go from mid 600's to mid 800's on Androgel. I wonder if I were on injections and had a steady dose, would that change as I lost weight.

Goes by blood work not so much by size and weight. I am 5'11 260lbs and take .25 ml of Test twice a week.
I don't know of many guys outside of bodybuilders who take 200-300mg daily of testosterone. That is a huge dose and I am sure would have complications.

Again, how are you feeling? Everyone is different.
