I inject twice weekly, sometimes more if I divide it up into smaller doses. Is there any sense in purposely injecting in different muscles, other than simple soreness? More effective one way or another?
When I injected twice a week, I only injected in my shoulders. I never felt that I needed to rotate to a different location. I've never been worried or concerned about scar tissue.
I've read that deltoids absorb more slowly, I've no idea if there is anything to that or if its complete bro science. I personally have never noticed a difference between any sites in how I felt. All mine are shallow IM though.
Why wouldn't it be OK? Fact is is that if you can reach a spot, you can inject there, makes perfect sense to rotate a bit but is there any harm in the same spots? Generally not, but then generally not adivsed either...as in....opinions vary.
I think it is free insurance in my opinion to rotate sites. After 10-20 years injecting in the same site you never know what can happen. Everytime you inject you cause a little bit of irritation in the site. That irritation over and over again in the long term can have unwanted results. It doesn’t cost anything to rotate and it is very easy to do. And you are not traumatizing the same area over and over again.
