DHT labs - yes or no

I have been getting very valuable information from this group as to which labs I should include. One of them being DHT. It is somewhat expensive and I don't want to include it unless it will provide valuable information. Any recommendations?

It's a toss up. For me, I got mine tested so I had a baseline for the future and since I was testing many other hormones I wanted to have a record of it. Most doctors don't test for it and probably many on TRT do not. I would not test for it every time I ran labs.

I wouldn't include a DHT test. I see it's $49-$87 depending on where you buy it. There are a lot of tests I would be curious about but don't get because the money keeps adding up.

AND if you do test DHT, establish your baseline, and then you go on TRT, doesn't that mean you have to test again to see if it changes?

If it's not affordable then skip it but every guy should have it run at least once. If it were low then that brings in more cost factor to treat that. If it's high, then that should be a good thing not needing intervention.
