Looking for feedback on if dhea supplementation has has been a good addition to your trt.
I take that brand but just 25 each morning I thought dr crisler said a few years back if slow released 25 was enough and that 50 was only needed if it was not slow released. I've been worried that taking more will raise my estradiol too high cause of it converting over to estrogen.
I, like many anti aging Physicians, believe that Pregnenolone and DHEA supplementation is part of any good TRT protocol.
I have been taking 50 mg of each every morning for years.
Dr. John Crisler loves it because, as he puts it, "it back fills the pathways" when a man is on TRT.
Life Extension Foundation had written extensively on the health benefits of both so you may want to go to www.lef.org and do some research.
It's best to take the two in micronized slow release form of best uptake. www.dhea.com has both and in pharmacy grade to boot!
DHEA jacks up my E too much and pregnenelone jacks up my cortisol too much at 50 mg each. I think I need a lower dose
