Defy Patient - Avoiding LabCorp Billing Errors

I'm getting ready to bring my lab order form from Defy to the local labcorp. I've heard of a few people being double billed from labcorp after they've already payed for them through Defy. Any tips to make sure this doesn't happen? Thanks

When I did those type things I made sure to say it was pre-paid and that they acknowledged that fact.

When they ask for your insurance and credit card, tell them its prepaid and don't give them either of those, just an ID. I have never had problems using that scenario.

I agree, I tell them that I prepaid. Never had a problem.

It works the same way with Discountedlabs.com. As soon as I tell them it's been paid there is no problem.

They never even get any billing information from me. I give them the form and they see it's prepaid. Even if they wanted to bill me again, they have nothing to charge.
