cortef and surgery?

Does anyone know about cortisol and surgery? i take a low dose of hydrocortizone /coftef 25mg a day .. and my surgeon said it may slow the healing of my tendon.. one dr said to taper off and another dr said i need it and i should stress dose.. which means take a bit more around surgery time.. wondering if anyone has any experience with this ? thanks
surgery is set for dec 5th and i have tried to taper down to 22.5 mg but that was about as low as i could go. i would like to get off the HC eventually but it was a life saver this past year.

any ideas would be very welcome. thank you!

Your doctor is right. You may want to message Keith Willse and ask him about other options for healing faster.
