Confused by blood test?

There is two different sections on my blood work with total testosterone serum but the list different values? Any idea why this would be?

Your value of 688 is OK (the range is usually 350-1200 or so depending on the lab company). Your free T is over 2 percent, so that is good.

I don't have low T symptoms at all since being on TRT. But yeah, classic low T symptoms are what lead me to treatment.

I usually take:
100 mg mon and thursday (200/wk)
300 IU HCG Wed and Sun (600 IU/wk)

The only thing I changed was I used 200 all on a monday and got tested the following Monday (before next shot). This was at my doctors request to wait 7 days. Then I went directly back to my 100/100 split.

You divided a dose on your own, I take it, but this test is the result of a shift, from 100mg/twice weekly back to a single 200mg injection. You have a "trough," and wound up with two reported values. So, an altered protocol, a "trough" reading that produced two differing total testosterone levels. Is that the picture?

It seems that they ordered two tests that included testosterone. I bet one was LC/MS based and the other used immunoassay.

Does your lab report identify either of the tests with a reference number? Typically, the reports will include that information.
