Compounded Testosterone verses Synthetic Testosterone

I have seen references in the site about compounded testosterone. Is there a difference in the way that synthetic T is metobolsied in the body verses the componded T ?
Also is compounded T a more heathy compound for the body than synthetic T ?
Still reserching to make good decisions on TRT.

Compounded testosterone injections and creams use the same raw material that manufacturers of Androgel, Testim, Axiron, Fortesta, Depo Testosterone and others use. There is no such a thing as "natural" testosterone unless you use that term for testosterone produced by your testicles.

The testosterone molecule is the same for all products. They only thing that changes is the type of ester it is attached to to slow down the breakdown of the molecule by the liver.

I explain all of this in this post: Testosterone Replacement Options

Joe, are you thinking more in the lines of "Compound" test -vs- "Pharmaceutical" manufactured testosterone, i.e, Watson, Pfizer, etc.? If you're talking something in the lines of methyltestosterone (synthetic) -vs- cypionate (bio identical), there's no question, cypionate is the clear way to go, no question!! However, I don't I've heard of any mainstream physicians (A4M or not) prescribing methyltest as a regular practice, so I doubt that will even be an option as you're discussing options with your medical team.
