anyone use either carditone supplements on Amazon? did some small research on Reddit and here, seems to improve blood pressure fairly well but not many people mentioning extended use.
It looks like the main herb majority of people talk about, Rauwolfia was used as a prior blood pressure medication in the 1950s but discontinued. Some anecdotes reporting towards depression? It seems to downregulate norepinephrine, but I’m not sure to what extent. The amount of people that reported depression in their study was a very small amount. Could the action of this medication be compared more towards an alpha/beta blocker rather than something like an ACE/ARB?
Also, if you’ve been taking this supplement for longer than 6 months, how do you feel with this extended use? I just purchased and took one pill today, my BP stays in the 130-140/80-90 but I generally have a high adrenaline/flight or fight feel that stays all day everyday.
