Can't get some Tests

InThailand

New Member
I live in rural Thailand and have come to the city to get blood tests done.
I have been to a hospital and they have agreed to do the following tests.

LH
Prolactin
Estradiol
Progesterone
Cortisol
Testosterone
Total T3
Free T3
Total T4
TSH
Vitamin D.
I must wait for a week to get the results.

They say they can't do.....
FSH
DHEA-sulphate
Free Testosterone
SHBG
Reverse T3

How necessary are these tests............
Should I keep trying to find some one to do them
or can I wait to see the results of the tests they can do first.........

You do not have the correct estradiol testing in your country, so don't pay much attention to the results. SHBG and Free T is very important, it definitely helps design a protocol TRT protocol.

Depending of your other thyroid labs, you may not need to test for Reverse T3.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
