Hello, since starting trt my prolactin has risen to 20 pg/ml. It is causing ED/low sex drive and some nipple sensitivity. I was given cabergoline to help, however I'm not sure on the starting dose at moderately high level. I see most people start at .25mg twice a week, but their numbers are 3 or more times mine. I was thinking of going with .25 once a week and go from there. Just curious to see what ya'll would think.

Thanks,
Nick

It will wipe out your prolactin to close to 0. Look at Thyroid and DHEA levels and correct if needed then see where Prolactin is at after. The rise after starting TRT comes from increased TRH from a lowered DHEA level caused by TRT. There is medications that increase PRL like SSRI. I tried caber it made me so tired I would fall a sleep driving. Erections and libido improvement was minimal. It was not worth the Side effects of caber.
