I contemplated going to them a month or two back after being fed up with the 20-50 doctors i've seen over the years who had refused to help me. I called bodylogic's hotline, and the woman on the phone was very rude. She told me she was too busy to answer any of my questions and HUNG UP ON ME in the middle of the call. Yeah, let me go pay 3000 fugging bucks for some beeyotch to hang up on me!
She managed to get my contact info prior to hanging up, and sent me details to my email. they require you to use THEIR blood tests(a lot of which aren't even necessary), and they dont give you a script. They make you pay for their blood tests. I get bw covered by insurance, so this pissed me off. It is also very expensive and clinicy.
i'd say avoid them, and run if they contact you /
Dr Holtorf is very good, and knowledgeable. I had the experience of working with him and his affiliates when I worked in pharmacy. All of his staff and affiliate physicians seemed thoroughly trained and cutting edge in HRT and nutritional medicine. I was always impressed with his custom formulations and understanding of how injectable testosterone esters work. I know Dr Holtorf himself suffered from chronic illness which was benefited by HRT and supplementation so he has a true passion for this field.
Body Logic is a "cookie" cut model and tries to fit all the patients into the same box, at a high price. They are in the business of selling Doctors their model and not providing patients individualized care. This is just my opinion on them as a whole. They may happen to have some good physicians who affiliate with them, but I still think that physician has to stay in the body logic box.
