Blood test for T level: how to get accurate results

My endo says rub androgel on left shoulder only, early in the morning, then have blood drawn from right arm in the afternoon. Is that the best way to get an accurate testosterone level blood test? Any other ideas?

After a week, it does not matter what time you test. Just make sure you do not put any gel on the area where your blood will be drawn from

I agree with Nelson, you don't want to cross contaminate your blood otherwise you'll have false reading.
