looking for an out of the box idea around test gel

Hi
i was taking a low dose of axiron.and since rotator cuff surgery i can't put it under my arm pits yet.. my endo gave me androgel and i can't put that on my shoulders so she said put it on my legs. 2 questions
1. does it matter what part of legs?
2. is there any out of the box ideas on how to get less than "one pump" dose? with the axrion i was able to pump it into a syringe and measure out the amount i needed.. however the androgel is much thicker and the syringe idea doesn't work .. so she told me to take 1 pump evey other day. I would rather take 1/2 that everyday if i can find a way to get a somewhat accurate measurement.

any ideas?
thank you!

I hope you are healing well.

It really does not matter where you apply it. Remember that many guys on this forum have found that using a moisturizer after a gel increases its absorption almost two fold. I would not worry too much about being exact with dose as long as it is approximately what it is intended. Testosterone blood levels tend to stabilize after a week or two of skin application even with variations in daily dose.

Hi Nelson, thanks for the reminder about using lotion.. i sure need it too! LOL . i seem to be healing pretty well..i hope! oddly and gratefully i dont have much pain. and my range of motion seems to be pretty good using the arm assisted stretches. I walked today 2 miles to the pharmacy to get androgel.. it was good to get out arm will be in a sling for another few weeks i guess while the tendon reconnects to the bone. It seems without much pain i have to remind myself over and over to no use that arm, and sometimes wonder if i am overdoing it with using the right hand. doing home pt exercises about 4x a day and icing in between.. still sleeping in an upright position.. but oddly enjoying this experience of time for me.. and glad to be getting this taken care of it!

it was a toss betwn getting the androgel or the axiron, but i wasn't sure axiron would be ok to apply on legs.. so i got the androgel for now.
thank you for your help and encouragement!
