Pacman, I was on Androgel for 6 months, 4 pumps and my T never got above 350, but that was ok according to my urologist. After much research on this site I decided to request injections. August 28 I started with the shots sub q in my belly fat using a 27 gauge 1/2 in needle. In October I switched to Dr. Saya at Defy in order to get HCG. My initial labs had my T at 596. Dr. Saya upped my Test Cyp from .25 ml to .35 ml 2x weekly. He also put me on 50 iu's hcg 2x weekly and .25 anastazole 2 x week. I am 59. When I started doing the shots in August my energy level increased and I started working out daily, rowing and elliptical. Since that time I have increased my muscle in my chest, arms and legs while decreasing my fat tire to the point that I may have to move my injection site. Bottom line for me is the shots are much easier than the daily androgel wash and they work much better. I get blood work drawn next week for my 3 month follow up with Dr. Saya and will post the results.
