Applying organic applications to the Lawn (eliminating toxic chemicals/pesticides)

Kind of way off-topic - but I'm working hard to eliminate all chemicals/pesticides from my house and yard. I used to have my yard sprayed but I've stopped. I have a crappy top-soil due to the way they scraped it off and trucked it off when they built my home years ago.

Talking to a local lawn contractor, he suggested applying products from a company called Holganix -- a plan like this --

April- May App 1 which is 66L and Nature Safe 10-2-8
June – July App 2 which is 66L and Nature Safe 10-2-8
Aug – Sept App 3 which is 66L and Nature Safe 10-2-8
Sept – Oct App 4 which is 66L and Holganix 2-4-3
Nov – Dec App 5 which is Holganix 2-4-3 alone

Anyone heard of this stuff? One of the questions asked by my doctors when I train-wrecked a few years ago was about my exposures to toxic chemicals/pesticides.

I have never heard of it. Thanks for sharing.

Not off topic at all!!

"Many agricultural pesticides – including some previously untested and commonly found in food – disrupt male hormones, according to new tests conducted by British scientists. The scientists strongly recommended that all pesticides in use today be screened to check if they block testosterone and other androgens, the hormones critical to a healthy reproductive system for men and boys.
“Our results indicate that systematic testing for anti-androgenic activity of currently used pesticides is urgently required,” wrote the scientists from University of London's Centre for Toxicology, led by Professor Andreas Kortenkamp."

Here are a couple of other sites (they are both sister sites) that offer 'natural' lawn care. I have purchased their Aerify and Natures Magic before but it's still sitting in the garage and I need to give it a shot. Once I use it, I'll let you know if it's any good. I purchased these products, since I was looking for a more natural way of taking care of my lawn and looking for ways to help the soil nematodes flourish to help defend the lawn from fungus.
