Any personal experiences with building their ferritin levels back up?

Would like to know "generally" how long it takes for ferritin to build back up, when supplementing with iron. i.e. X mg iron/day increased ferritin by X points in X time

Has anyone kept track of this?

Took me about 8 months, supplementing with 28mg 2x daily with Feosol brand tablets (contains heme iron).
Iron: 38 (50-180 mcg/dL) to 119 after 8 mo, then 85 at 12 mo.
Ferritin: 27 (38-380 ng/mL) to 31 in 8mo, then 169 at 12 mo.

Many men on TRT have low ferritin even without blood donations.

It takes a while to increase it with iron plus Vitamin C supplementation.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
