hi guys. I'm new to this forum however I have asked questions on other forums with not much help. 43 male,6 ft, 190 pnds, slender build, healthy. I was diagnosed with low t a few years ago and was prescribed test cyp with a bad protocol. I developed fat on my chest so I stopped trt. I decided to get lipo on my chest. surgeon said it was stringy fat and no hard tissue. everything good after surgery except I feel like crap with low t. I decide to go back on trt, found a doctor willing to work with me. I was injecting test cyp200 25ml a week divided into 2 doses with ai on hand. after about 6 weeks chest started to itch, tingle and become sensitive and gaining fat. I had blood work done and my testosterone level was 400 and e2 was only 14. (sensitive test). how can this happen with low e2? very frustrated? I quit trt 4 weeks ago out of frustration. I'm really trying hard to figure this out. can anyone help?

Welcome to Excelmale. Nipple sensitivity, particularly at the T dose you were taking, and in the presence of an estradiol reading of 14, is almost certainly not gynecomastia. As your serum levels of testosterone rise you are likely to experience itchy, sensitive - even burning - nipples for a period of time. I know I did. I'm surprised your doctor didn't walk you through this. You are most likely putting yourself through a ringer for nothing.

thanks for responding. I am actually developing fat in my chest. its not a hard lump like everyone describes with gyno. anyone else?

Your total T of only 400 was barely getting you out of the "Low T" range, and a sensitive E2 of 14 is quite low. I would consider checking with a dedicated TRT specialist clinic like Prime Body or Defy Medical. The average GP or Endo is unlikely to be of any help.

actually I felt better mentally at 400 than I did at 700. thanks for your input

Do you have any full labs to post? Additional things like Thyroid, SHBG, liver values, along with free and total T, E2, etc. The more information, the better the responses will be.

I'm sorry I don't at this time. ive had them before and nothing was out of range. just curiuos what I should be looking for. thanks

I don't know about fat....but if your prolactin levels are elevated it can give the impression of fat because it makes the areas around and behind your nipples feel almost watery.
