A Wisconsin man had quite the experience while hunting this weekend.
Brian Powers says he was hunting in a large wooded area about 15 miles outside of Wausau when he noticed a small deer alongside a creek. The deer started walking toward him and when it got close enough, Powers noticed something around its neck... An orange scarf.
"This deer lives in the wild but is friendly toward humans and someone was smart enough to put the orange scarf around his neck to try to protect him," Powers said.
The deer walked across the creek to Powers and came right up to him. They hung out for about eight to ten minutes before the deer walked away.
Powers said he saw the same deer in the afternoon, and it came right up to him again.
He says that in his 42 years of hunting, he has never experienced something like this. http://www.wearegreenbay.com/news/local-news/wisconsin-hunter-finds-deer-with-orange-scarf-in-woods
