sorry its my first post and asking for something but hope you all may be able to give me some guidance on trt as i have very basic help at home with my gp and am looking to self administer to hopefully help myself.

i have been reading and reading to try and educate myself to start but am very nervous in starting this without someone looking over it ( if u will ? )
i was going to do 150mg a week test cyp/enanth at 3.5 days and 250ui HCG.
I'm really unsure if i should use an aromotose aswell, i can get my bloods done quite easily aswell to monitor eastriadol, usually within 7 days i can get a result.

Im 41 years old, 6ft, 225lbs and about 20% body fat. my diet is good and i normally consume 3/3500 cals a day , my lifestyle is fairly active.

I'm pretty motivated with everything in life and do fairly well, however this consistent nagging feeling of not feeling quite right/in myself is holding me back big time.
i feel a bit anxious, low libido, emotional, stressed for no reason, fatigued, generally feel like crap tbh, energy levels are rubbish aswell which really doesn't help lol.

worked out for about 2 + years now doing mainly 3 day full body routines ( regularly changed some exercises aswell as adding some in)
I've not missed many days tbh and even work out whilst on holidays, first thing i do is find a gym lol.

i had a very expensive full panel done privately 2 months ago only to find out later that it only included total testosterone:
Results were: 9.9nmol 286 ng/dl ( drawn at 9am )

took this to my gp who said this was normal ??
but he reluctantly agreed to a new blood test 1 month ago which came back at 13.6 nmol ( drawn at 9.30 am ).

i then sought out a testosterone specialist 3 weeks ago to redo the figures i wanted and he used my last total test of 13.6nmol as the base line:

• Total Testosterone – normal - 13.6 nmol/L (normal range 8.4 – 28.7) taken 10/8/16
• Free Testosterone – normal - 0.242 nmol/L (normal range 0.21 – 0.70) = 1.78%
• Bioavailable Testosterone – normal - 5.67 nmol/L (range 3.5-12.0) = 41.8%
• Oestradiol (oestrogen) – normal - 103 pmol/L (range 0-150)
• Prolactin – normal - 215 mu/L (range 0 – 375)
• Sex Hormone Binding Globulin – normal - 41 nmol/L (range 17 – 66)

if you could be so kind to have a look through these and offer any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
i realise that you don't have to but would be very much appreciative of any help or guidance you could give to help me out of this hole
kind regards
carl

Your total T is 392ng/dL. Borderline in the US to get treatment. But some cash basis clinics here may provide TRT if you have all hypodonadal symptoms.

All other hormones look within range.

Tell us more. Do you sleep well? Take any medications? What country?

Thank you Nelson for replying its much appreciated :)

my sleep is poor to be honest i am awake at least 2/3 times a night and really feel this around midday, around 1/2pm i get real fatigue and brain fog with a bit of nausea .
(having 2 kids under 8 doesn't help at all lol as they are up raring to go at 6am.)

i take a casein shake before bed every night so no hunger pangs.

I'm on no medication other than 5mg Cialis daily to help with ED,
i practise PE on a daily basis and this helps with getting the most out of my routines.

i take creatine 5mg with post workout shake, 5mg bcaa, 5mg glutamine, 1 x vit D3, 1 x omega super 3 and 1 x optimum nutrition multi vitamin.

i am based in the uk where there is virtually no help unless you try to help yourself to be honest.

missed a line damn!

• Free Testosterone – normal - 0.242 nmol/L (normal range 0.21 – 0.70) = 1.78%

would you say this is in the real world range ? ( be really interested to know btw )

If you find a way to sleep better, your testosterone may go up by 20-30% or more. I take 1 mg Melatonin 3 hours before bed and use Ambien if I find myself awake at 12:30 am. Even your SHBG can go down with better sleep (your free t is under 2% of total)

Please read this in detail:

I take Xanax for sleep... Is Ambien overall a better sleep aid? Maybe less side effects... Also I take Melatonin right before bed... I will try 3 hours prior....

If you have trouble falling asleep then I've found zolpidem (generic Ambien) to be really good. If your problem is staying asleep then zolpidem may not work so well because of its short half life. You also have to be careful not to take too high a dose. Some people (mostly women) are especially sensitive. I get the 10mg pills and cut then in quarters, I find 2.5-5mg to be enough.

When I needed it, some years ago, I found Ambien to be significantly more effective, with fewer side effects, than Xanax.
