3 month labs

I've had low test for a few years now that ranged from 250-350 and have been waiting for the wife to get pregnant before starting trt, she's now 5 months pregnant and i'm 3 month into trt with Defy. I have a follow-up with a nurse at Defy in about 3 weeks but wanted some thoughts on my labs.

I'm doing 60mg test e3.5d and 250 iu HCG Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 25mg DHEA eod and no Ai.

I'm thinking about stopping the HCG until I have my appointment with Defy because E2 is high. I will probably stop the DHEA as well since it went from 223 three months ago to 521.

I will be donating blood in the next few weeks to get Hematocrit down.

The main symtpoms before trt were fatigue, no libido, brain fog, also poor sleep and anxiety that I'm not sure are from low test or not. All symptoms are about 90% better except the brain fog and anxiety are just slightly improved. The only new symptoms are itchy nipples but not bad or often at all and I'm really thirsty all the time.

Labs were done just before my next test shot.

That's an interesting response to testosterone. You seem to be low SHBG, yet your trough is really decent. Do you have SHBG from pre TRT?

E2 is high, lowering dose can help, and if you ARE low SHBG(free test assays have been known to be wrong before) splitting up your shots can help.

Your HGB and HCT are odd, seems your high HCT is more from hemoconcentration than it is high HCT. Were you dehydrated?

I think i was dehydrated actually. Does this mean my HCT is not really high and I might not need to donate blood yet?

I was thinking of taking .25 anastrozole on test shot day for a few weeks until I talk to Defy, is this a bad idea? Maybe .25 once a week. I'm freaked out by high e2.

It can artificially raise HCT, yeah, doesn't mean it always will. I'd get a recheck of CBC rehydrated.

Where did you get AI?

I'd call defy before making changes, they're pretty good with getting back to you when you have an issue.

I got the AI from my endo, he had me on HCG mono before i went to Defy.
I'll call Defy today.

I left message for the nurse at Defy and she called me back 30 minutes later, she said to start the .25 AI on day of shot or day after. THe next set of labs I will ask for SHGB, is there any other labs I should ask for next time? Does anyone know when the do labs next? 3 more months maybe?

Well, with defy, from my understanding they don't care about "times" when it comes to labs.

As in, you can order anything you want, whenever, they don't care much if it's only 6 weeks instead of waiting 3 months for labs. Just ask them to add on SHBG, or whatever.

If you're paying for the labs, keep that in mind, some are expensive!

Right on about Defy, I've been having them write me RX for E2 testing every 4 weeks. Their answer is always "absolutely we can do that for you"
