12 Week "Cycles" of TRT

One clarification on this thread.

Whether we call it a "low-dose" steroid cycle, "physiologic level cycle" etc...after 8-10 weeks of EVEN CONSERVATIVE testosterone dosing (for TRT purposes for example), the HPTA will be completely suppressed.

In this sense, it is no different to the HPTA suppression aspect of you are doing 100mg per week of T cyp or 500mg per week of T cyp.

Aside from the valid points noted by the members in this thread prior, the risk is that there is never any guarantee that the HPTA will resume "normal" production after a cycle (of any duration or any strength) or to what degree recovery will occur. MANY factors can play into the likelihood (or unlikelihood) of same happening.

Thank you very much for the reply. Exactly the information I was looking for (though clearly not the answer I wanted to be true).

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.
