Has anyone tried Tudca instead of NAC for liver health? Due to lots of lifting my liver enzymes are always high end of normal. Only supplements are vitamin d, multi vitamin, magnesium gylcerate, and my trt. Hearing tudca is a little better then nac but nac seems much easier to find.
So im always looking at information. I’ve always followed a high protein (chicken, salmon, eggs, deer meat) diet with some potatoes and veggies thrown in but mostly meat. Physically I look great super strong. However I’ve noticed the longest lived people on earth all eat mostly carbs with...
Anyone concerned about taking fish oil and getting prostate cancer. Came across a few studies that show high omega 3 levels are linked to prostate cancer.
Im on 240 mg armour thyroid now. Was considering switching to cytomel. Would 35-40mg cytomel daily be a good dose? Or should I add t4 too? Or just go with my like 50 mg cytomel to make up for the t4 I was getting in the armour? Just wondering what you guys like best? Armour works for me but it's...
Can any people here can say they didn't start having low t symptoms until after they started doing weight training. Just food for thought but seems I'm meeting more and more people in the gym with low t symptoms. Almost seems like weight lifting brings out the symptoms. I'm not saying it lowers...
Over at the peak testosterone forum a guy started a post called stopped working out. It really peaked my interest. The guy states how he he stopped exercising and finally is feeling better and in all aspects. Others chimed in and said the same too. Just has me wondering if the low t symptoms in...
https://www.marksdailyapple.com/dietary-fiber-is-bad-for-sex-thats-the-only-claim-about-it-that-isnt-a-myth/
Just read an article how fiber needs are manly a myth and that we don't need nearly as much as we are lead to believe. Some of it made sense other parts were so so. Feedback on you guys...
How long is normal to feel drained after donating blood? My ferritin was 319 obviously too high which is why I decided to start donating. My hematocrit has always been good high 46 to low 47 even with being on trt for over ten years. I just felt like I did pre trt since donating and it's been...
Just found out my ferritin is 319. Red Cross only lets you donate every 56 days. Is there any other ways to donate or have someone take my blood for free? I want to get my ferritin down to below 150. And feel like it'll take forever at only every 56 days.
free t3 range 2-4.4 mine is 2.8. This was right before taking my 120 mg armour. Is this ok considering it would be the lowest point or should my free t3 still be higher even 24 hours after my armour dose?
Does anyone fast? Anyone else besides myself read Jay Campbells Metabolic blowtorch diet. It's a great read! I know he is a good friend of Nelson too. Curious though on people's thoughts on fasting? I've been doing two days a week since reading the book and my energy seems better already.
My hemoglobin and hematocrit are always good. However have been reading alot about health benefits of donating blood. Is a double RBC better for lowering ferritin? And will it not change WBC ? My WBC is always low end has been my whole life.
I always was instructed to take the thyroid blood tests before the daily dose of armour thyroid. Was watching a video with Jay Campbell and Dr Arron Grossman who runs checked.com for trt and Dr Grossman said take thyroid meds then blood test within five hours after taking the daily dose...
Hearing more and more about ferritin levels being maybe the most important thing one can do to be healthy. What levels do you guys feel are ideal I'm thinking 60-120 at the most.
Peakt over at peak testosterone forum posted he is concerned with vitamin d levels of 61 ng/ml. I would be curious if Dr. Saya could chime or some of the other drs on here on how high of a level is too high? I know I've heard Dr Osborn say before 10,000 daily is the normal he likes his patients...
If wanting to take 5000 mcg b12 methyl sublingual daily to raise levels will i deplete folate levels if they are normal? I've heard some doctors say taking b12 alone could cause folate deficiency.
Taking armour thyroid 90 mg. Normally take it on empty stomach two hours before eating in am. When doing blood test normally do the test at 8 am. I've always taken the armour five to six hours before the blood test. Is this correct or should I be waiting till after my blood test to take the...
Was just reading an article that said NAC can help regulate estradiol in women. Has anyone heard of this for guys on trt? Would 1800 mg be a safe dose?
I just had both the regular and the sensitive same exact draw. Sensitive was 31.4 and standard was 38. My energy and libido are not so hot. Do you you think getting my estradiol lower or higher would be a good direction to go? Currently injecting every 3.5 days and taking .25 mg anastrozole 24...
Been on 60 mg of armour thyroid for years seems to be working well my free t3 is normally about 4.0 Ive heard switching to nature thyroid might be better and some of the top docs are switching their patients. Any feedback??
Been dealing with fatigue for years like over 10. Been on trt over 8 years. Always did four to five days of weights for the last 17 years. Recently switched to three days of weights with cardio afterwards one day jogging and the others of 30 minutes walking. I also have a forth day of just...
