So regardless of the reference range the actual numbers would be the same correct? For example if I am comparing my results from May to Oct. side by side to see any changes would this make sense?
Where would I see the test code? Also, why would the reference range be different but the results be tested on a similar range, wouldn't this make doing one test seem way out of range vs another?
Hello,
I had blood work done in May and the reference range for Free T was- 35.0-155.0 pg/mL
Just had them done again in October and they changed to - 46.0-224.0 pg/mL
Anyone know why they changed this seems like a big jump?
Do my levels seem abnormally high? I have been experiencing some significant changes in my hair. Mostly thining out and becoming extremely wiry. I know that testosterone can cause a build up of DHT and speed up male pattern baldness but I am wondering if lowering the dosage and levels overall...
Sorry correction here.
I was previously injection 40 mg EOD then I switched to 20 mg ED. I am not at 16 mg ED.
I was confusing the marking on the needle with the mg amount I forgot to double it since it is 200 mg/ml.
My labs before are above the only change was from 20 mg EOD to 10 mg ED. I discontinued the use of my AI because I didn’t really need it.
The only other medication I am on is 90 mg of armour thyroid daily and 350 IU of HCG twice weekly.
The levels did seem high to me as well and my physician...
Hello,
I recently switched my regimen up to daily injections and noticed the following in my blood work.
May 2019- 20 mg EOD
Total T- 1039
Free T- 266.8
Oct 2019- 10 mg ED
Total T- 1332
Free T- 294.6
My doctor said that these numbers were too high and lowered the dosage down to 8mg ED. I am...
I've off and on tamoxifen with the most recent bout being 10 mg 2x weekly and am experiencing the symptoms listed above, depression, low libido etc. even though at a lower dose. It does work great for gyno but I'd almost choose that over these side effect. Any suggestions?
I never have Gyno officially diagnosed, but since adolescences I've always had fatty issue under my nipple area no matter how lean I get. Below are the lab ranges.
Total:250-1100 ng/dL
Free:35.0-155.0 pg/mL
Estradiol: < OR = 29 pg/mL
SHBG: 10-50 nmol/L
I have a consult with my physician on...
What are the typical estradiol ranges where someone will see gynocomastia? I have always had a bit of it since I was a teenager, however it appears to have gotten worse since beginning TRT but my estradiol levels seem to be low. Below are my latest lab results.
October- Dosage 70 mg test cyp...
Hello,
I recently started Testosterone and HCG about two months ago. After experiencing some symptoms of high estrogen we added in anastrozole and tomaxiphen. I am also on armour for my thryoid (see below for full regimen).
Ever since starting the testosterone and HCG I seem to be experiencing...
My clomid dose was 12.5 mg per week. I was on .125 mg of anastrozole 3 times per week but then stopped once I began testosterone 2 weeks ago. My doctor wanted to prescribe me an AI but since it didn't help my sympotoms previously we went with tomaxifen 10 mg daily to help with the gyno.
I recently transitioned from taking Clomid to Testosterone. While on the Clomid I noticed increased nipple sensitivity and also tissue build up around my nipples. Does anyone know if this is common with Clomid and if so will it go away now that I have transitioned off?
Thanks
Hi Everyone,
I recently started testosterone replacement therapy and had a quick question on the dosage. I was prescribed T Cyp 200 mg/ml 0.35ml two times a week along with 500 IU of HCG twice per week.
Could someone explain to me the 200 mg- is this the strength of the testosterone. Also, I...
