so 25 pg/ml is not too high ? it will not cause gyno ?
because my DHT level is extremely low ( close to 0 )
This this the E2 which cause the breast tissue ?
thanks again guys .
But i just need to know this , because if the E2 is the culprit , i would just take low dosage arimidex to reduce it to the 15-20 pg / ml range .
thanks vince .
yes it was a sensitive test .
I take duta because i was on finasteride for 5 years prior to this for hair loss with no result .
I never had gyno during puberty ( I am 25 yo)
Ok so the only cause of breast tissue growth is E2 ? the low DHT itself can't cause this ?
thanks
I , i would like to know the cause of the gynecomastia induced by 5ar inhibitor ;
- IS it because of the really low DHT level ?
OR
-IS it because of the higher oestradiol level ?
I am currently on dutasteride and tamoxifen ; and my oestradiol level are 25 pg/ml ; which seem quite normal ...
hi sir , and sorry to bother you ,
but do you know how to prepare a topical tamoxifen ? this is in order to destroy gynecomastia lump
is it possible to crush the pill and mix them in dmso ? thanks
thanks again doc .
So the final word , according to you in order to prevent the gynecomastia caused by finasteride/dutasteride , one should use an aromatase inhibitor rather than a SERM ?
Using proper dosing of arimidex to keep the E2 on the normal range .
I have read that one side of arimidex...
thanks a lot doctor , that would be great if I could have a skype consultation with you .
I am 25 yo and unfortunately I have both receding hairline and crown thinning .
Even if it the receding hairline is genetic , i have seen quite a lot of result in the internet for the receding hairline...
thanks a lot doctor for taking your time to anwser my question
I wish i could live in the US to make an appointment with you . Do you make skype consultation ?
So my main issue is to keep my hair by using dutasteride while at the same time getting rid of the gynecomastia caused by it .
I took...
Ok , because i was taking dutasteride for hair loss purpose . However it raise my oestradiol too much , which causes me slight gynecomastia . SO i was following dr rand adivce to take arimidex to lower my E2 in the range .
Unfortunately, dr rand doesnt seem to respond to question anymore . ( he...
thanks a lot madman!
you know my issue is that i am on finasteride but my E2 are way too high because of the drugs and i got gyno . moreover finasteride doesnt work enough
Do you think i coud take dutasteride and low dose arimidex to couteract the sides ?
thans man, so if I use it wisely and just reduce my E2 in the normal range ; it will not impact negatively my lipid profile ?
I use 0.25 mg 3 times a week .
Yoy know my E2 are at 50 pg/ml because of the use of finasteride , so i need to reduce them to the 20 pg range .
Hi , i would like to know why arimidex impact negatively the lipid profile
IS it because of the drug itself , or is it because you crash your E2 too low, and the low E2 cause this side ( such as the joint pain side of adex which is caused by the low E2 and not the " drug itself" )
Thanks.
because i have read some studies ; and tamoxifen " block " E at the receptor but increase serum E in the blood .
do you thnik arimidex would be much " hair friendly" than tamoxifen ?
if i took 0.5 mg arimidex on monday . and then 0.25 on friday
given the fact that arimidex has a 2 days half life . that mean that on friday i have 0.125 mg of the monday dosage in the blood , and i add the 0.25 mg of the friday : so i end up with 0.375 mg of arimidex in the blood ?
my E2 are 40-45 pg/ ml and I need to reduce them to the 20 pg range
IS 0.25 mg adex twice a week too much ?
IS it better to start with 0.125 mg twice a week ? or 0.25 mg ONCE a week ?
thanks
thanks , unfortunately here in france , no pharmacy can counpound arimidex .
And it is impossible to cut the capsule into 0.125 mg
Do you think 0.25 mg twice a week is a low enough dose ? or it will cause rebound ? thanks
