Update
I have been on TRT for about 6 months so far and it has been great. My TSH since being on TRT has dropped from 3.7 to 1.69 which is great (I am not taking an idione supplement or anything). My only concern is my estrogen, my latest blood test came in at:
Total T: range: 264-916 - result...
I started supplementing with iodine and selenium recently. Very possible I have been iodine deficient for a long time as I don't think I ever used to buy iodized salt. I'm a little nervous about some of the recommended high doses I have read about, heard some very mixed opinions on that, so...
No iron or ferritin labs, but I did have the initial defy lab work. I read that blood labs like mcv can give a clue into anemia, but I don't see anything that looks too off there. I also eat a high protein diet, alot of chick beef salmon, and I usually snack on nuts, I believe these are all...
I had a full thyroid panel done due to my pre TRT bloodwork showing a high TSH of 3.7. Does anyone have any input on these follow up labs? rT3 is a little high and T3 is a little below mid range, I don't think this warrants medication though, or am I wrong? Luckily all the antibody tests look...
Are prepaid CCs working for online pharms like reliable rx, ADC, etc. these days? I don't want to use an e check from my accnt and it seems like alot of work to get another bank accnt just for an e check for online pharms.
They told me the only option was to go through their compounding pharmacies and I could not get a script for a pharmacy (I'm in florida). You were able to get a script from them?
I had really sore joints before starting TRT, not sure if it was more from my low free T or low estradiol. TRT has already greatly improved my joints, personally my injections have been helping my joints not causing more pain.
I feel amazing, but I'm only on day 17 or so, I'm still in the honeymoon period. Doing 80mg cyp 2x weekly, hcg 270iu 3x weekly, dhea 25mg daily.
There's no way I will be able to go off trt, free T levels were so low they were below the range. I'm only 25 and in really good shape but my joints...
Your labs are very similar to mine, low e2, very high shbg inflating total T, and very low free T. If you check your free T I bet it is very low like mine was. If you search through the forum you'll find there are other people with labs similar to ours.
Anyways, I couldn't go on with low...
You can pull back on the syringe after you pin yourself, before you inject, to make sure your not in a vein. I just started trt and had the same question about that last tiny air bubble that always stays at the top. The folks at defy told me not to worry about it.
I use a larger needle to draw then switch it to the smaller needle tip to inject. If you go on the Defy website theres a vide section where it shows how to inject, that's how they do it in the video.
I was feeling horrible so it felt like the wait for meds, appts was taking even longer. In the end I'm glad I waited because Defy has been top notch. Even though I'm sure Dr. Saya is great I didn't want to wait for an appt with him so I just asked for a PA and I got an appt much faster and I...
I did not reach pre diabetes but I felt like I had insulin resistance and was heading towards diabetes from years of low T levels (one of the main reasons I started trt). The a1c is a good test but it does not always tell the full story on insulin resistance because you can get a great score...
I forgot to ask this at my consult. How far out are you allowed to schedule your delivery? Does it have to be just as you are running out or can you schedule when you have like 14 days of meds left?
Well just got my tracking number and it is coming tomorrow so 6 days from when I put the order in (the correct time I was originally told). I guess the person I spoke to had the wrong info.
Got started with Defy based on the positive reviews from this site. Very happy with the service and their doctors so far. Only complaint I would have is I feel like the wait time to get your meds seems pretty long in my opinion.
So I go on Thursday for my consultation, pay for and order my...
How was your shbg/estrogen? Are you feeling better?
I am definitely looking for trt, ive tried everything else for the last 12 years and going so long with low T is starting to cause health problems.
I had a blood test about 12 years ago, I did not keep the results. I do remember my TT was actually lower at that time, it was barely over 400 and my FT was higher but still on the low end of the range. The doctors tried to restart me once with HCG and once with clomid but it did not help...
I did my labs with Defy and I have my consult with them next week so I am confident I am good hands given the their reputation on here. Thanks for the heads up though.
I posted on another forum as well, I hope it isn't considered poor form to post on here as well, just wanted to hear as many opinions/suggestions as possible before my next doctor visit
Had bloodwork at about 23 that showed low T, did not want to start TRT at that point as I had very few...
I'm having surgery for a tendon tear, no way I'd go off. I doubt I would have a chance for a full recovery with low T levels. Also not telling my surgeon as he was hard to book, not risking losing my appt.
Looking through old threads it seems like a large number or people on here use a very small dose of cialis daily with their trt. I am wondering, for anyone doing this, have you noticed after several years of daily cialis use it has become less effective?
