Did a Marek basic male hormone panel through Labcorp on 5/7/21 and got the results back today. I have been doing my own blood work via Labcorp for 4 years now and started off posting on here years ago. I am 38, 5'7" 145-146 (on a lean bulk, lost a bit of weight in the pandemic). Lift 4-5 times a...
Interesting stuff in those links, it's still hard to read and understand thyroid stuff. Way too much "T3, T4, total T4, reverse T3, TPO antibodies", I mean it's A LOT of stuff lol. I guess a better question is what causes thyroid issues, is it from lower t, does it CAUSE lower t, etc.
Well my only comparisons are my TSH, which has risen, oddly at a time when my T has lowered. Connection?! MY LH is slightly higher this year than last year, FSH is the same.
I had trouble figuring out what thyroid tests to run last time when looking around on lifeextension, they have a ton of...
The only thyroid I did was this last year on 4-27-17
TSH 1.990 uIU/mL (0.450 - 4.500)
Thyroxine (T4) 7.9 ug/dL (4.5 - 12.0)
T3 Uptake 29% (24 - 39)
Free Thyroxine Index 2.3 (1.2 - 4.9)
and I got TSH on my testosterone panel a few weeks ago on 4-13-18
TSH - 2.870 uIU/mL (0.450 - 4.500)...
Decided to try again last Friday 4-27-18. I pretty much took off from lifting any real weight, mostly light cardio, wanted to see if things were a fluke. Also did A1C to put any fears of my high resting glucose at ease
Testosterone, Serum 417 ng/dL (264-916)
Free Testosterone(Direct) 10.4...
Old post but my guess is you were reacting badly to the sugar alcohol in those lozenges. It took me awhile to find capsules instead of lozenges that were not loaded with xylitol or sorbitol or any of that crap.
I drink a ton of water daily, of course I try not to drink it when I wake up randomly as it will cause me to wake up even more and I woke up, got a shower and drove straight to Labcorp. I tested at 10:45 am, my tests last year were all around 10:30-11:00 because that's "my morning". Now for the...
There's nothing I can do about the sleep outside of a sleep study that my insurance wont pay for. I have had poor sleep since around the time I hopped on the paxil. I wake up to urinate 3-4 times a night MIN but even then I still just randomly wake up a lot. I used to take over the counter sleep...
I was put on paxil for OCD, not depression, but I feel like my OCD was thrown for a loop because years before I got on Paxil I had a Dr that was basically using me as a revolving door for SSRI's. Anafranil, Luvox, Prozac, Zoloft etc. That stuff was killing me at school and making me so tired I...
35 years old, not on TRT, did blood work last year which lead me to look into it.
So last year I posted numbers after checking my T levels (429 on 348-1197 scale, 9.27 on a 5.00-21.00) and them being low. This lead to joining the gym, increasing calories, cutting out fried stuff and cokes, a...
Musclefeast 100% grassfed whey protein isolate. It has no garbage sucrolose in it, is lactose free and tests very highly on third part quality testing. The vanilla kind of sucks, chocolate isn't bad. I use 6oz of water or will add fast carbs sometimes. I don't do things with lactose and can...
I started with taking 1 a day of the exact same stuff with the occasional 2 a day for a couple of months, now I just got another bottle and am doing 2 a day to see how it goes.
This thought went through my head as I showed up to my Dr the other day (small clinics that sell a medical membership and mostly have NP's working there) and was told by the office staff that "she wont do a physical for this, she already turned people down for similar looking things". I asked...
I was thinking thyroid would be off because I have EXTREME cold intolerance, Im capable of getting hot like anybody else (although Im much more tolerant than most), but my threshold for even slightly cool temps is awful, drives my friends insane. It was 72 the other day and I had the seat heater...
Nobody should be on SSRI's lol and least of all myself, they are the devil. The symptoms being allegedly treated aren't as bad as the side effects of the medicine. Not even close.
So is my estradiol low enough to be a concern? I see people concerned with theirs often, but they are already on TRT. Are my LH and FSH numbers a concern? Also edited and added ferritin as I had forgotten to post it.
That's not bad at all. I really dont want to have to "rely" on them at 34 though, but I do understand there are some other benefits as well. Does the stuff from there seem legit when compared to actual name brand Cialis? I looked at the stuff from iron dragon and maximum peptide but dont wanna...
At over $300 a month, unfortunately that's not even remotely an option for me in the immediate future. :( It also doesn't help with drive or refractory period for me either, helps with erections, but not the other, although taking it daily would possbly make a change from what I have read.
I didnt even know there was a more sensitive D test. I guess I will keep supplementing and see what levels do. I wonder how long I should wait to retest?
That's some serious B12 results on the ole test there, good lord! lol So B12 isnt one to worry about being over the top in range? I know some people think Vitamin D can get too high pretty quickly?
I kind of wonder if I have an absorption issue to some degree. I'm doing Now 2000iu D as of yesterday, I think I might go for injections on b12 as I have never ever felt anything taking it orally. I wonder if the Paxil is dropping the numbers? I hate that garbage.
Basics. 34 Years old, 5'7" 123.5-125.60 lbs on average. ALL testing done through Labcorp, most of it is a preconsulation blood work up from Defy Medical.
Current meds: Paxil 5mg (been on it since 1999, used to be on larger dose, cannot get off of it), occasional Cialis 5mg or Viagra/Revatio...
I had trouble find this info and Life Extension didnt specify either when I bought the test, it said "no special instructions". You are correct though, Adam at Defy confirmed this with me today.
I love know it all Dr's that dont even LISTEN to what people are saying, I think most are super jaded and just want to get paid at the end of the week. There are more bad Dr's than good out there imo, and it gets worse when you get into anti depressants and hormones.
I have been slowly...
